What we collect

AmenQuiz stores an anonymous session identifier in a cookie so your quiz progress and answer statistics work correctly. We do not require an account, and we do not collect your name, precise location, or payment information.

Our hosting and content-delivery providers process your IP address transiently to serve the site and protect it from abuse — for example, to rate-limit newsletter sign-ups. We do not store your IP address as part of any profile.

If you choose to subscribe to our newsletter, we store the email address you provide and forward it to our email service provider to deliver the newsletter. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email.

Links in our newsletter may contain an opaque subscriber identifier. If you arrive through such a link, we store that identifier in a cookie and use it solely to associate your quiz points and progress with your subscription — so your progress isn’t lost if you switch devices. It is not your email address, it is never shared with advertisers, and it is removed from the page address before any page loads. You can opt out by visiting the site directly or clearing cookies for this site.

Answer statistics

When you answer a quiz question, we record the selected choice against your anonymous session identifier to compute the aggregate "popular answer" percentages shown on the site. Those percentages are anonymous. The individual answer records behind them are tied to your session identifier — and if you subscribe to our newsletter, that identifier is associated with your email address so your points and progress carry across devices, so those records are not anonymous to us.

Advertising

AmenQuiz is supported by advertising. Our advertising partner is Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies or similar technologies to serve and measure ads; with your consent, ads may be personalized based on your visits to this and other websites. You can read how Google uses information from partner sites at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites and manage ad personalization at adssettings.google.com. Where required — for example under the GDPR in the EEA and UK — we request consent before ad technologies are loaded. See Ad choices & consent to review your options.

Analytics

We collect basic first-party usage events (pages viewed, quizzes started and completed) to understand how the site is used and improve it. These events are tied to your anonymous session identifier. We also use Cloudflare Web Analytics, a privacy-focused, cookieless service described under Service providers below.

Service providers

We rely on a few third-party providers to run AmenQuiz: Cloudflare (content delivery and privacy-focused, cookieless web analytics), Vercel (application hosting), and Neon (database). To deliver pages, these providers process standard technical request data such as your IP address, browser type, the page requested, and the referring page. Their analytics are aggregate and are not used to build an advertising profile of you.

Data retention & your rights

You can clear your session at any time by deleting cookies for this site. Depending on where you live, you may have rights under laws such as the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) or the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) — including the right to access or delete your data and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. To exercise any of these rights, or to request removal of a newsletter subscription or any data associated with your email address, contact contact@amenquiz.com.

Children

AmenQuiz is intended for a general audience and does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
